Vivid Vision for Encompass

In 2021, I read a book called The Vivid Vision. It’s a fascinating book and the main idea is that you map out what your vision is for your business, life, etc. And then share it with everyone. This creates more energy around your dreams, making them more likely to come true!

That’s not the only reason I'm sharing this post, however. If you know me, you know that dreaming fires me up. I love chatting about it- so I'm going to share my dreams for Encompass with you!

First and foremost, when I first moved back to the UP in 2017, my biggest goal was to have 10 clients per week to support my family financially and to have an outlet for myself. Since then, dreams have shifted and changed and grown, and it’s become so much more! I am so thankful for how far we’ve come and everything that Encompass is, currently.

AND- I’ve had a dream kept close to my heart for a few years now. Want to hear it? Here goes!

So, my dream is to keep doing what we’re doing, but on a larger scale.

I would love to build a Wellness Center, in Calumet. Encompass Wellness Studio, where all of your favorite natural healing providers are in one beautiful space, to serve you. I see building a Wellness Studio on the highway somewhere, for convenient access. It would have a timber framed entry, with natural accents all throughout for a grounded, peaceful feeling.

As you walk in, you’ll be greeted with a large reception area and smiling faces to get you checked in and ready for your appointment. Soft music floats through the speakers. To the left is a large area with products and a juice/tea/coffee bar. You’ll definitely be back to check that out after your session.

Your therapist comes up to greet you and to take you back to begin your session. As you walk to your appointment, you walk through a large hall with a bathroom on the right and treatment rooms on the left. You notice there are many different therapies here at Encompass Wellness Studio. A chiropractor, functional medicine, health coach, acupuncturist, energy healing and more.

As you enter the treatment room, you notice how cozy it is. Soft lighting, soft music and warm. Essential oils fill the area and immediately relax you. Your therapist takes a thorough intake and leaves you to undress and get on the table.

Your session is amazing. How does my therapist just know exactly where my tension is, you wonder? It all seems to melt away and your are a puddle by the time she is done. All tension seems to be gone and you’re excited to book another session.

After your session, you decided to ask for more of a tour. Around the other side of the building is an infrared sauna, offices for reception and a large community room. In it, a variety of different things happen. Yoga, meditation classes, massage workshops and any other classes any of the renters want to host there. You notice a set of stairs heading up and wonder what that is for. A massage school!

Encompass Academy of Massage Therapy is housed on the second floor of the Wellness Studio. This makes it super convenient for teaching, and the students can see how the wellness studio runs as they are in it from week to week.

As you come back around to the front, you are excited to check out the products again. After receiving your complimentary tea from the tea bar and seeing that the menu also includes healthy juices, ningxia red, and more, you slowly make your way around the room taking in the essential oil products, foam rollers, balls, massage tools, vitamins, apparel.

After grabbing an essential oil roller, you head back to the check out to pay and book another session. The receptionist makes it so easy and welcomes you to sit and relax until your tea is gone. She also offers that you can stay and hang out in the back gardens until you’re ready to leave. Amazing!

What a space! Just being here makes you feel relaxed. You’re excited to try some of the other providers and services.

For myself, having everyone in one space is a dream for referring and convenience. I also would love to bring a space like to this to the Calumet area. I don’t know when this will happen, but I continue to hold the dream close to my heart and work on aspects I can do right now. Our product section has taken off, we have a chiropractor, four amazing massage therapists, and are starting a school where we are at currently in the fall! (If you’re interested in that, check out www.encompassacademyofmassage.com). It has been a super fun journey.

Below, I’ve added a few pictures to really get the vision! And let me know, what do you think? Wouldn’t this be fun?! Are you someone that would want to be involved?!
